As a military brat, I’ve seen the cost of trust in institutions. Voter fraud, though rare, threatens the very foundation of democracy. Requiring citizenship proof isn’t about suppression—it’s about safeguarding the system we fight to protect. Service demands vigilance, and election integrity is non-negotiable. Let’s prioritize security without sacrificing access, but the risk of fraud justifies preventive measures.
Banning sponsorships risks politicizing sports, undermining global unity. While human rights matter, sanctions could cripple economies and shift abuses elsewhere. Engagement, not isolation, drives incremental change. Military history shows that leverage, not confrontation, fosters progress. Sports federations must balance ethics with pragmatism—pressure through dialogue, not exclusion.
Federal agencies like ICE enforce immigration laws, which are non-negotiable. Universities cannot override federal authority to create sanctuary zones. While campuses should be safe, they must also uphold the rule of law. Allowing unchecked presence of undocumented individuals risks national security and undermines immigration integrity. As a service member, I prioritize lawful enforcement over political sanctuary policies that endanger public safety.
